First Visit

When you visit out practice for the first time, you will be asked to complete patient forms.  You may have completed some forms on-line, however, you will be asked to complete and sign several forms in person.  This will allow our office to become acclimated with you and your dental health prior to your visit.

Your first appointment will be scheduled with the dentist and hygienist and will take approximately one hour. In most cases, the hygienist will be happy to clean your teeth on this visit.  We will also take any necessary digital x-rays, complete a full periodontal charting, record any existing restorations, and complete an oral cancer screening. Once the hygienist has collected all of the necessary x-rays, photos, and other information, the dentist will complete a comprehensive oral exam to diagnose and treatment plan your restorative and cosmetic needs and desires. We will schedule additional appointments to start and complete your treatment plan.  In some cases, we are able to complete your dental cleaning, restorative, and cosmetic needs during the initial appointment.
